I use cardboard as painting palette. A week ago, I just cut out the interesting part of a palette and sent it to my good friend Terry...really just to see if a piece of cardboard could go through the mail. Well, the answer is yes...but there are apparently some additional charges for items that can't go through the USPS sorting machines, as evident by the label affixed to my returned cardboard. Now we know some of the rules...
